The Plan

As many people know first hand, and everybody has heard, smoking cigarettes is a highly addictive habit, and apparently it isn't great for your health either. In fact around 100,000 people die from smoking related illnesses each year in the UK.

Almost all adults in this country will already know the facts about smoking. Many smokers choose to ignore these facts because they still enjoy having 'a crafty fag', but at the same time every smoker has a little voice in the back of their head telling them they should quit.

I am one of those smokers. For the purpose of this blog, and partly my own health, I will attempt a daunting task; I will attempt to quit smoking.

You will see daily updates to talk about how quitting makes you feel, how quitting affects daily life and how noticeable is the change in health.
